Unfortunately, I’ve lost our two ladies who hosted the show. Due to some unfortunate class changes (they finished my course and moved on to new and different things) and our inability to work around the confines of the school schedule, I’ve been frantically searching for new hosts. I’ve found two (well, they found me, actually) and they’ve stepped up to the plate. They’ll begin shooting Tuesday and hopefully we’ll see a new episode by the end of the week!

Create Your Own Scavenger Hunt!

Announcing the first ever Create – Your – Own – Scavenger – Hunt – for – Spanish project!

We’ve had so much fun making our episodes of Scavenger Hunt for Spanish that we’d like you to make one, too!

The goal is that you’d make a 3-4 minute video with 1-2 new Spanish words for Jeff Corwin to learn. Entries must be uploaded to YouTube and watchable by Friday, March 7, 2008. Want to find out more? Check out the official rules and submission guidelines.

When you’re done, use the submission form to tell us about your entry!

Brief site outage December 30 and 31

I want to apologize for the brief site outage on December 30, 2007 beginning around 7:00pm and ending December 31, 2007 at 9:46 AM. I had issues upgrading to the latest version of WordPress (2.3.2) and it took some work to resolve. We’re back up and running now! We’re back to school this coming Wednesday so expect great things and new updates soon!

Welcome to www.teachjeffspanish.com! We’re a group of sixth graders at CrossRoads Middle School in Columbia, SC. We love watching Jeff Corwin as he explores Central and South America and uses his Spanish. We think he needs to learn a few new words, and we want to teach him!
